Create a control points or tie points: This method of tying the scan data is depending on the unit you will use. In Topcon we use a traverse method which is very accurate way of orienting your scanner.
Capturing: The number of scans varies depending on how crisp the point cloud data should be. There is multiple option of density to choose from corresponding to the detail required and what deliverable the client needs.
Processing: After capturing the data from the site, we have to process it using a processing software called magnet collage. Here we can do quality control and check whether the registration is properly done and see what are the blind spots that need to be covered. the data can be exported in any industrial format available in the market.
